Natuwa lang ako kasi sakto naman sa acronym na ABC ang mga celebrities na matatalakay natin ngayon. A is for Anne Curtis, B for Bamboo, and ang pinaka latest buzz na si Chito Miranda for letter C. Kaya tabi na muna kayo Christy Fermin at Pia Guanio... ako muna ang chichika minute, hehe.

ANNE CURTIS: Lumelevel up?
Kakapanood ko lang ng latest music collaboration ni Anne Curtis kay Martin Nievera sa Youtube. Sa pag click ko pa lang ng play button nire-ready ko na ang dibdib ko sa badtrip. Kasi medyo asar lang ako sa fact na ang isang artistang trying hard lang kumanta e nakakapuno ng concerts - samantalang ang ibang MAS karapat dapat na singers (at composers pa nga) ay pahirapan makakuha ng audience. So pinakinggan ko ang kanta nilang Without You.
Not sure kung dahil ba sa isa itong recording studio version pero ang ganda ng pagkakanta ni Anne. Or baka naman she didn't gave up practicing to the point na talagang pwede na syang makipagsabayan to the likes of Martin Nievera lang naman. Not to mention ang ganda ng rendition nila nung song. This might change my mind tungkol sa singing capability ni Anne Curtis. Well done!
BAMBOO: The Voice Contraversy
Di ko alam na it actually made a buzz pero di pala ako nag-iisa. I am talking about the Lee Grane vs Dan sa The Voice face-off. Both artists are under Bamboo's group and both gave their all para lang huwag mapauwi that night. I watched that face-off. Ang lupet ni Dan! Pero in my mind meron akong favorite, mas gusto ko manalo si Lee syempre kasi iba ang dating n'ya saka I know she badly needs the money for her sister's meds.
I forgot kung ano yung song na kinanta nila together pero it was definitely for a male's range of voice. Alanganin si Lee. Pero she still managed to pull it off kahit paano. Her effort was good, but honestly, I am sure Dan won that face-off. Even Joey Ayala thought so. She admired Lee Grane but chose Dan to proceed. Surprisingly, Bamboo still chose Lee. Ewan kung bakit pero parang ang labo lang. Parang favoritism ba 'yun? I am sure that decision will impact all other contestants from there on - lalo na sa grupo ni Bamboo, na kahit pala masapawan nila ang ka face-off nila - it's not a sure ticket for Bamboo's approval. In my opinion, specially for a contest that's suppose to be a "blind" audition that's centrally dependent sa voice ng contestant - that's plain unfair.
CHITO MIRANDA: #Respect?
Idol ko si Chito Miranda. Oo, di ko gusto lahat kanta ng Parokya ni Edgar pero sigurado sa bawat album nila may mga kantang patok at malupet. Pero more than that, when all the best bands ng pinas disbanded (including the mighty Eraserheads), Parokya ni Edgar still stood ground and up to now, they're still alive and kicking! I am sure isa sa glue na nagdidikit sa banda ni Chito ay ang kanyang leadership at malupet na pakikisama.
At eto na nga. Di lang basta lumabas kundi parang confetti sa libing ni Ninoy ang pagkalat ng scandal video n'ya with his girlfriend Neri. What do you expect? Sa bilis ba naman ng info super hi-way wala talagang kawala ang mga ganyang pakawala. Konti lang alam ko kay Neri pero those are all positive traits. Alam ko meron pa nga syang foundation. So it breaks my heart to know na nababoy s'ya ng iskandalong ito. Regardless of the cause of all this, I think it's all too late. Apology accepted, respect for doing that bakit hinde, pero damage done. Kung ganon nga lang sana kasimple at mag move-on na lang tayo lahat pero syempre hinde. Ilang buwan din bago nawala ang magic ng Careless Whisper nina Hayden Kho at Katrina Halili noon. Same goes with Maricar Reyes. Parang demonyo ang tingin natin kay Hayden di ba? Pero ano ba ang pinag iba ni Chito sa kanya sa sitwasyon na 'to anyway? Natatawa lang ako sa mga nakikita kong posts sa Facebook promoting #RESPECT daw kay Chito. Did we say the same kay Hayden Kho? Eh kay Mang Kanor? I don't think so.
In some degree, YES, let's all just forget this ever happened para naman mabilis maka-recover ang idol natin at pati na rin si Neri. But please, wag naman tayo bias. It was a HUGE mistake sa part ni Chito and that really lowered my respect meter towards him. That's totally irresponsible. You recorded something like that and actually expect respect after that? Come on. For all it's worth, I wish the couple the best at sana mapabilis ang recovery ng mga nasaktan sa incident na ito, specially Neri's parents.
