The Movies of 2013 (The Disappointments)

The following movies are not all bad. Actually, 'yung iba nga may potential naman and could even pass as a good movie (alcohol required). It's just that, for me, medyo mataas yata ang expectations ko on some movies on this list that I really got disappointed when I finally saw them ng buo. Well, of course some of these movies are sleep inducing and some I just got upset dahil sa plot holes. Meron ding over-hyped pero pag napanood mo na isa lang masasabi mo: 'Yun na 'yun?

Again, this list is based on my opinion and of course will never be universally accepted. But yeah, you can just take this post as a reminder bago mo gugulin ang ilang oras ng buhay mo to watch some films in the future. So here it is, the top 10 disappointing films of 2013.

The Movies of 2013 (Surprisingly Good)

On with the second set of movies - the surprisingly-good-movies category! In this list, makikita ang movies na pinanood ko ng wala masyadong expectation pero bigla nila akong sinampal ng ganda at creativity. Sarap 'nung feeling na 'yun eh - 'yung tipong hesitant ka mag aksaya ng almost 2 hours ng araw mo sa isang pelikulanga akala mo basura o mediocre pero 'yun pala (sabi nga ni Rhianna) they shine like a diamond, hehe.

Again, in this list, mga napanood ko lang na foreign movies ang nilista ko - based on my taste alone. So here they are, the surprisingly good movies of 2013!

The Movies of 2013 (The Best)

This post is dedicated para sa mga couch potato at movie fanatic tulad ko. Well, 2013 has been kind enough para bigyan tayo ng magagandang pelikula mapa-sikat man o hinde, mapa indie man o mainstream. Pero tulad ng inaasahan, may mga sablay ding mga movies ang 2013 which will also be listed here. Take note, puro foreign movies lang ang imemention ko dito at yung mga movies lang na napanood ko talaga. So kung sa tingin n'yo I missed mentioning a movie - most likely, di ko pa s'ya nada-download napapanood. Besides, madalang pa sa pagsagot ng matino ni Napoles ang dami ng pelikulang pinoy ang napanood ko last year.

Hahatiin natin sa tatlo ang categories. First category will be my top 10 BEST movies of 2013. 'Yung tipong ayoko ng matapos 'yung pelikula sa ganda. O kaya naman after 'nung movie napamura ako sa lupet. The second category will be my top 10 most-surprisingly-good movies. 'Yung di ako gaano nag-eexpect pero WOW! Ang ganda pala n'ya! Lastly, of course, the kubeta category. 6 movies na talaga namang nadisappoint ako. Enough said. Again, ang basis ko ng paglista ay ang sarili kong taste. So in short, kung ano sweet sa'kin maaaring salty sa'yo. So be it - di ko na kasalanang magkaiba tayo ng taste buds, okay?

Facebook Spams

Promise, sandali lang 'to. I just want to let this out of my chest.

Facebook spams. Oh, yes, 'eto yung mga link na makikita mo sa facebook timeline mo na akala ko mo video (usually on topics na nakakaintriga or mga mahahalay) tapos pag click mo BOOM mapapadpad ka sa isang hiwalay na website na i-rerequire ka munang mag-share o kung ano ano pang shit bago mo SUPPOSEDLY mapapanood yung video. Mapapahinto ka ngayon at mag-iisip - shared naman s'ya sayo ng kapitbahay mo o ng kabarkada mo sa what can go wrong di ba? So susunod ka naman sa dikta nung website.

BOOM ulet. Welcome sa bangin ng katangahan. Congrats isa ka na sa magpapalaganap ng facebook spam.

The Monday Surprise

Lunes na lunes 'eto ang tumambad sa amin. Ang nakakaawang imahe ng kotseng ito na nilapastangan at pinagtangkaan ng kung sinong demonyo. Take note - nakaparada na yan sa tapat ng bahay! Hay.. ganito na ba talaga kahirap ang buhay at kahit old skul na stereo pag iintersan pa talaga? Matawagan nga si Gus Abelgas para i-SOCO ang krimeng ito, hehe.

Autotune Remix Party!

These cool autotune remixes have been around for a while now pero ngayon ko lang sila actually napansin. I am really impressed! They maybe funny pero super galing ng nag mix ng mga "songs" na 'to. Mas bilib pa ko sa mga 'to kesa sa Chicsers at District 5 combined.

Nakakatempt tuloy gumawa ng sariling version, hehe. Maybe one of these days - pag marunong na 'ko mag-edit with autotune. Pero for the meantine, here's the list ng autotune remixes that I stumbled online that proves that creativity is everywhere!
